Services

Real Dogs. Real Life. Real Support.

At Dog Training Toolshed, we offer more than basic obedience—we offer practical, relationship-based training that works in everyday life. Our sessions are guided by experience, science, and a deep understanding of behaviour, stress signals, and canine communication.

We meet you and your dog where you are. Whether you’re raising a new puppy, navigating reactivity, or looking for fun enrichment ideas, we’ll guide you with personalised, fear-free strategies that feel achievable and empowering.

Every session is designed to:

  • Build trust and confidence
  • Reduce stress for dogs and humans
  • Improve communication and cooperation
  • Deliver real results in real-life situations

FAQs

If your dog struggles with basic commands, has behaviour issues (barking, jumping, pulling on the leash, recall etc.), or you if you just want to improve your relationship and communication, training can help. Training is for all no matter if your dog is a training Ninja or more fluff than focus.

Force-free training is an ethical and science-based method that avoids fear, pain, or intimidation. Instead, we use positive reinforcement—rewarding the behaviours we want to see more of. This approach builds trust, reduces stress, and leads to longer-lasting, more reliable outcomes.

Unlike many trainers, we:

  • Have a clinical veterinary background
  • Focus on real-life training, not just obedience
  • Use only force-free, positive methods
  • Customise every session to suit each individual dog and human
  • Prioritise education and empowerment, not just behaviour fixes

Absolutely. We work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to large guardian breeds. Every dog deserves training that’s kind, effective, and tailored to them.

Still Unsure?
